Hey there!

I'm Kevin Whitley, owner of NU Lifestyle. I have been an industrial designer for over 40 years, founding my Sydney-based design consultancy KWA Design in 1981. I've devoted my life to bringing the highest quality products to market and maximising customer and consumer satisfaction through minimalist designs and unexpected delights.

I've been fortunate enough to work with companies including Samsung, Sony and Nike and have produced multiple award winning designs. Throughout my time, it's been my ambition to deliver innovative solutions to everyday problems, and it was in the everyday that NU Lifestyle was born.

Being a Cronulla local, I love to spend time with my family and friends down at the beach. From coffees in the park, to walks along the Esplanade and dinners on the beach, I spend a large portion of my time outdoors.

Over time, I came to realise that many people, including me, faced a very frustrating problem when picnicing at the park or beach. When there are no tables available, we often put our food and drink on the ground, only to have them knocked over or covered in dirt and sand. Despite this very common experience, there is a complete lack of products on the market that address this problem.

Cue NU Lifestyle! I started NU Lifestyle as a subsidiary of KWA Design to offer products that would both offer convenience and elevate our collective experience of the outdoors.

I believe our beach and picnic accessories are unrivalled and it's my hope that they will make your outdoor adventures that little bit more convenient, enjoyable and stress-free!
